10/16/20: Help in the Time of Need
Sometimes, the truth of the matter is, we all need help. At some point in time, we all need someone to step in and help us. Sometimes, we need help turning that corner from Sorrow Street to Joy Avenue. It is of extreme importance to be able to admit to ourselves that we need help. Yet, it’s easy for pride to get in the way. After all, aren’t we supposed to have it all together, all the time? One of the most difficult things to do is receive help, let alone ask for it. Don’t be embarrassed or ashamed.
In this verse, it’s mentioned how their mourning was turned into dancing and clothing of misery (sackcloth) were changed to that of joy. But, they didn’t do it alone. They had help. My prayer for each of us is that we would have the genuine help we need when we need it. Each and everyone of you reading this, right where your point of need is, whatever it may be. And like Tiny Tim would say, “God bless us, Everyone.”
BE. Inspired. Purposed. Ready.
